On December 5th 2023, our very own practice manager, Andrea Esposito was honored by
Schneps Media as one of their 2023 POWER WOMEN at their annual Power List of Brooklyn
ceremony. She has worked tirelessly these past 10 years to give our patients such excellent
care and compassion as a Breast Navigator and surgical coordinator in their cancer journey.
We are extremely proud of her amazing accomplishments!
On Thursday October 19th 2023 we hosted our 5th annual LIGHT IT UP PINK Breast Cancer
Awareness event to celebrate the life and memory of our warrior patient Christina Gordon. Along
with Christina’s family, our staff and our colleagues who worked closely with Christina through
her cancer battle, a tribute video was shown and a lantern lighting ceremony was held in her
memory. The fundraiser also included a basket raffle and 50/50 that raised money for Knitted
Knockers.
Our 4th annual LIGHT IT UP PINK Breast Cancer Awareness event took to the streets on
Thursday October 13th, 2022 to display an epic Laser Light Show splashed across our buildings
facade. The light shows inspiring score featured the names of our 5 brave Breast Cancer Fighters
and ended with the powerful message that we would all stand together in the fight against breast
cancer. Our honored warriors, DinaMarie Maggiore, Christina Gordon, Anna Piziak, Loretta
Sciacca and Bethanne Dinkins had previously been treated to a professional hair, makeup and
photo shoot. They were each presented with pandora bracelets and framed portraits from their
photo shoot. Proceeds raised at our fundraiser were donated to the American Cancer Society.
On Thursday October 1st, 2021 we illuminated our office building up in PINK spotlights to kick
off our 3rd annual LIGHT IT UP PINK Breast Cancer Awareness event. This year we honored 4
survivors from our practice, who had victoriously won their battle with breast cancer. Yvette
Ramos Lopez, Shelia Ledgin, Melissa Brander and Vincent Peterson. Councilman Justin
Brannan came out to support our event as a guest speaker. Our survivors and their families
enjoyed a night of cocktails and dancing at Kitty Kiernans to celebrate. Our fundraiser proceeds
were donated to the American Cancer Society.
In 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic, we were limited in our gatherings and celebrations. But
that didn’t stop us in honoring 3 longtime survivors of breast cancer in our 2nd annual LIGHT IT
UP pink event. Marilyn Taylor, Silvana Cusimano and Lisa Suarez were given professional
makeovers at our office and featured on a special News Channel 12 piece highlighting Breast
Cancer Awareness month. Not able to have a traditional party, we received amazing donations
from our wonderful local restaurants and boutiques to make this a special day for these amazing
ladies.
In October 2019, the brand new Dr. Kehoe’s Breast Center presented its grand opening with a
pink lighting ceremony and invited the neighborhood to come out and join us for Breast Cancer
Awareness month. With an amazing turnout from our practices patients and our local community
the event was featured on News Channel 12. We decided to make this an annual LIGHT IT UP
PINK event and find new ways each year to honor those affected by breast cancer and continue
to bring awareness to fighting against this disease.
